UFC Quick Quote: Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira wants his revenge against Frank Mir in Brazil

This way, "Big Nog" can get some payback for the hometown fans after Mir knocked "Bigfoot" out cold.

"I would love to fight Frank Mir. He's a great opponent. After his fight with ‘Bigfoot' everybody wants to see someone beat Frank Mir in Brazil. I want to fight him again. Fighting him would motivate me to come back to the gym and train even harder. It would be great, my dream. He just beat my friend ‘Bigfoot,' but it was a great fight. He's a great fight and I expect to fight him soon. If he wants that fight, we will fight. I just need three months to get in shape and fight him. That's the fight everybody wants to see."

-- Frank Mir says he loves the country of Brazil and its rabid mixed martial arts (MMA) fans; and vice versa. But, that may have changed after the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight champion brutally knocked out Antonio Silva at UFC Fight Night 61 last month in Porto Algre (video highlights). According to Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, who spoke to MMA Fighting, his fellow countrymen now want Mir's head, and he would love nothing more than to be the one to serve it to them on a silver platter. But if history tells us anything, that's going to be a pretty tall order. Mir has already defeated "Big Nog" twice, knocking him out at UFC 92 in 2008, and then forcing him to tap three years later at UFC 140; breaking his arm the process. Nogueira was last seen getting knocked out himself at the hands of Roy Nelson at UFC Fight Night 39 nearly one year ago (see it again here), while Mir snapped his losing streak by steamrolling "Bigfoot." For now, the former PRIDE and UFC heavyweight champion, Nogueira, will focus on his coaching duties on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): "Brazil 4" opposite Mauricio Rua (details). While he's busy training the new blood, perhaps UFC matchmakers can convince Mir to take a third and perhaps final fight against the jiu-jitsu specialist. Question is, do you want to see it?
