Video: Watch UFC Fight Night 63 headliner Chad Mendes become first to KO Clay Guida

In 46 pro fights, ultra-durable featherweight Clay Guida has been knocked out exactly one time. Check out the man who did it.

At UFC 164 in 2013, Chad Mendes, who returns next month to headline UFC Fight Night 63, won the first two rounds before finally getting the stoppage in the third.

It was part of a five-fight winning streak that ultimately earned Mendes an unsuccessful bid at champ Jose Aldo’s featherweight title. And it was an impressive performance.

Check out the full fight above.

And catch Mendes (16-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC), who’s No. 2 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA featherweight rankings, in action on April 4. He meets No. 3-ranked Ricardo Lamas (15-3 MMA, 6-1 UFC) in UFC Fight Night 63’s FOX Sports 1-televised headliner. The event takes place at Patriot Center in Fairfax.
