Conor McGregor believes his 'hype will not die'

Fresh footage of Conor McGregor's trip to New York for a Reebok launch party in March showcases the Irishman's bravado alongside Reebok stars Jon Jones and Paige VanZant.

The UFC have uploaded footage on their FOX YouTube channel narrating Conor McGregor's venture in New York at Reebok's headquarters. The brash Irishman can be seen plodding through the slush of New York's frosty streets with his long-time girlfriend, as well as parading his charismatic antics at Reebok's launch party alongside fellow UFC signees Jon Jones and Paige VanZant. The featherweight championship aspirant expressed his unerring confidence leading up to his showdown with Jose Aldo at UFC 189:

"One of my favorite things to do is say I'm gonna to do something and then putting in the work and going out and doing it. It's energizing. I say what I'm gonna do and then I do it. At the end of the day we get in and fight. I don't have to do anything to intimidate these people because they already are intimidated about me - and the hype will not die down - it will still have that same buzz because it's me they are here to see," McGregor said.

After McGregor's collaboration with Reebok, alongside surging stars Jon Jones, Ronda Rousey and Paige VanZant, as well as FOX Sports' acquisition of RTE's six-part 'The Notorious' documentary (set to air in over 90 million homes in the US), the hype behind the Dubliner only seems to be intensifying. McGregor's notoriety in the media could reach astronomical proportions after his championship tilt on July 11 with Jose Aldo or perhaps fizzle out if the Irishman fails to capture the featherweight title with authority.
