He also warns Irish fans to be prepared to bow down to him ...
Jose Aldo was having none of Conor McGregor's belt-snatching antics, as the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight king did his part to try and get his hardware back from "Notorious" during today's (March 31, 2015) press conference in Dublin, Ireland.
Watch a replay the sheer pandemonium right here.
The 145-pound champ says trying to take his belt during the presser is the best "Notorious" can do because come fight night at UFC 189 on July 11, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada , the Brazilian bomber vows to "beat the shit" out of the Irishman's face and run through him like a runaway truck.
His words to UFC Brasil (via MMA Fighting):
"I didn't feel anything. That's the best he can do because next time he's in front of me, I will beat the shit out of his face. Now it's time to go home, train and train," Aldo said in the video. Brother, I will run through him like a runaway truck. I will smash him."
During the final stop of the "World Tour," Irish fans didn't welcome "Scarface" with open arms, as they repeatedly hurled insults and curse words toward the Brazilian.
For the most part, Aldo was calm, cool and collected. But, he did tell the fans to enjoy their happiness for now because when the two collide he's going to make them all cry.
"It's cool to see you all happy right now, but when I win the fight you're all going to bow down to me. I'm the king of Dublin. When I got here, it was raining, but I brought the sun with me. I'm the king of Dublin. I'm the champion. This is nothing for me. You're all going to keep crying. I fought in front of 50,000. You only have 2,000 here. I'm still going to be the champion after this fight. This spit bucket you're talking about, he's going to use it to clean my belt when I win."
Have McGregor -- and his faithful fans -- awakened a sleeping giant?
