Khabib Nurmagomedov asks for random drug testing for fight vs. 'cheating' Donald Cerrone

Citing a failed drug test in the WEC, UFC lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov wants random drug tests for his fight against Donald Cerrone at UFC 187.

Not a day seemingly goes by without a quote-worthy moment from Khabib Nurmagomedov, and today is no exception. With his highly anticipated #1 contender bout with Donald Cerrone just under two months away at UFC 187, he tweeted to Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta his calls for random drug testing for both him and "Cowboy", whom he accused of cheating back in 2007.

Now, to clarify the "steroids" bit of that tweet, Cerrone tested positive for hydrochlorothiazide after his WEC debut win over Kenneth Alexander in September 2007, thereby making his 1st round submission a no contest. However, hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic and not a steroid, and it's generally used to treat high blood pressure levels. WADA does not consider it a PED, but it is a banned diuretic and also listed as a masking agent.

All of that said, will Nurmagomedov get his request granted? Chris Weidman already had a random drug test administered in his UFC 187 co-main vs. Vitor Belfort, and the same is surely going to happen in the main event between Jon Jones and Anthony Johnson.
