The Comissao Atletica Brasileira de MMA (CABMMA) – the Brazilian MMA Commission – has announced that all its UFC Fight Night 62 drug tests have come back clean.
MMAjunkie received a prepared statement from the UFC-backed commission stating all fighters were tested for performance-enhancers and drugs of abuse during this past month’s event.
Additionally, six randomly chosen fighters were tested for erythropoietin (EPO). All tests were negative, though the athletes weren’t identified.
UFC Fight Night 62 took place March 21 at Maracanazinho Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro. The main card aired on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on FOX Sports 2 and UFC Fight Pass.
In the headliner, former welterweight title challenger Demian Maia (20-6 MMA, 14-6 UFC) cruised to a unanimous-decision win over Ryan Flare (11-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) in a five-round bout (watch the Maia vs. LaFlare video highlights).
