Al Iaquinta got what was perhaps a lucky win, but he wasn’t pleased with the reaction from the fans who questioned the controversial victory.
In today’s UFC Fight Night 63 co-headliner, Iaquinta rallied to earn a narrow split-decision victory over fellow lightweight Jorge Masvidal (28-9 MMA, 5-2 UFC).
When the result of the FOX Sports 1-televised bout was read, a clearly incensed Masvidal stormed out of the cage. Then, when fans at Fairfax, Va.’s Patriot Center booed Iaquinta during his post-fight interview, he hurled some expletives their way and cut short the chat.
