Ronda Rousey will fight Miesha Tate for a third time, but there is no official date yet set for that fight. However, we all got a look into the UFC's plans for its schedule at the post-fight press conference.
In response to a question regarding if Rousey-Tate could join Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor on a fight card, UFC President Dana White got a smirk across his face and confirmed that it would be a possibility. You could infer from that the UFC was already thinking of a massive pay-per-view with two of their hottest properties.
Rousey said in her post-fight interview that she wanted to be on the Aldo-McGregor fight card as well. The stars seemed aligned for just that to happen.
Aldo-McGregor were slated to square off at UFC 189, and the UFC put a lot of money into promoting that fight. Unfortunately, Aldo suffered a rib injury that forced him out of action. UFC 189 was still a massive success under McGregor's star power, but the title tilt only got more intriguing exiting the event.
UFC 190 was thought to be a step down after that hot PPV, but White says all the trends are pointing toward UFC 190 being bigger than UFC 189. Rousey's crossover appeal and mainstream star power puts her events on a broader scale. Celebrities are enamored with the bantamweight champion.

An Aldo-McGregor and Rousey PPV would do huge numbers for the UFC, and would be a can't-miss event across the board. The Aldo-McGregor fight has captured nearly every combat sports fan's imaginations. It transcends typical featherweight fights. With the addition of Rousey's mainstream appeal it could elevate that event to unforeseen heights.
Later in the press conference White said that Cowboys Stadium will be the likely landing spot for the event. Confirming that they are eyeing Aldo-McGregor and Rousey-Tate for the same PPV. The UFC has teased a stadium show at Cowboys Stadium before, but big fights are made for Las Vegas. Logistically, it would be hard to take that fight out of the “Fight Capital of the World.”
UFC 100 still holds the PPV record for the UFC with over 1.6 million buys, but a future PPV with Aldo-McGregor and Rousey would certainly challenge that number. It could bring the UFC to a new stratosphere.
White's smirk when answering the question at the post-fight press conference gave a hint that it was the current plan, and later on he confirmed it. Those plans can always change due to scheduling conflicts and other issues that may arise.
Time will tell, but be prepared to shell out for this potentially massive double main event fight card in early December.
