The show's headliner is a light heavyweight contest between former title challenger Glover Teixeira and hard-hitting Ovince St-Preux. Despite losing his last two fight, Teixeira remains the No. 4 ranked 205-pound fighter in the UFC. St-Preux comes in ranked No. 6.
The co-main event of Fight Night 73 is a lightweight tussle featuring a pair of combatants on impressive runs. Both Michael Johnson and Beneil Dariush have won four straight coming into this one and are looking to take another step toward title contention.
