Strange Entrances Steal Show at Russian MMA Event Featuring Fedor Emelianenko

The buildup to Eurasia Fight Nights 50 was straightforward. MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko was going to face former UFC light heavyweight Fabio Maldonado in a fun, fan-friendly scrap. Simple, right? Well, anyone who tuned in on UFC Fight Pass got treated to some of the most absurd, elaborate entrances in MMA history.

Don't believe it? Here's the flying, inflated spider-woman who sang in Australian heavyweight kickboxer Peter Graham:

There were plenty more of those entrances as well that involved Cirque du Soleil-style performances, opera singers and symphonic renditions of Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger." 

In terms of the actual fights, former Bellator heavyweight Vitaly Minakov made quick work of Graham, finishing him via first-round armbar, and in the main event, Emelianenko scored a controversial decision win over former UFC light heavyweight Maldonado.
