It’s Tax Day, and if you think Uncle Sam has his hands in your pockets, it could be worse. Learn why April 15 is an especially tough time of the year for pro athletes like Tom Brady, LeBron James and UFC fighter Donald Cerrone.

In a video produced by USA TODAY’s For the Win, former Ohio University linebacker and current accountant Nieco Teipel discusses how taxes work for pro athletes who play and perform in multiple states.

Up next for Cerrone (27-6 MMA, 14-3 UFC) is a bout and likely title eliminator with Khabib Nurmagomedov (22-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) at UFC 187. The pay-per-view event takes place May 23 at UFC 187 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.
