UFC Fight Night 62 bonuses: Four fighters pocket performance bonuses

Kevin Souza, Gilbert Burns, Freddy Serano and Godofredo Pepey all won performance bonuses for their efforts on Saturday night.

While the UFC Fight Night: Maia vs. LaFlare event was one of the UFC weakest shows on paper in recent memory, it certainly had its fair share of spectacular finishes and entertaining fights, many of which warranted post-fight bonuses.

Kevin Souza earned arguably the most vicious win of the entire show when he dispatched Katsunori Kikuno with a one-punch KO that dropped him like a sack if potatoes. The fight lasted a total of 91 seconds and extends the Brazilian's record to 3-0 in the UFC.

Pepey earned his third straight win in the octagon when he defeated Andre Fili via triangle choke in the first round of their main card bout on Saturday night.it was an impressive win from a fighter who continues to gain confidence with each performance.

Gilbert Burns pulled off one of the biggest comeback wins in recent memory when he overcame a two-round deficit to defeat the debuting Alex "Cowboy" via submission in the final round. It was a win that reminds everyone that a Jiu Jitsu blackbelt on his level will always be dangerous.

UFC President Dana White also revealed that both Erick Silva and Amanda Nunes could expect cheques for their efforts as well.
