UFC Fight Night 64 results: Pawel Pawlak fends of Sheldon Westcott's hugs, wins unanimous decision in Krakow

Homegrown mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter, Pawel Pawlak, introduced Sheldon Westcott to Krakow, Poland, earlier this afternoon when the pair collided at UFC Fight Night 64 inside Krakow Arena.

Westcott, though, did not wait long for pleasantries.

The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): "Nations" alum raced out of his corner and immediately attempted to get the match on the ground. Pawlak, however, wasn't having any of it, defending at just about every turn and punishing Westcott along the way with sneaky elbows and shot shots.

Westcott struggled the entire round to wrestle Pawlak, expending a tremendous amount of energy in the process.

Pawlak came out to start the second with a knee that dropped Westcott. After a quick scramble, Westcott was able to get his arms around the Pole and try and do what he did in the opening frame. Pawlak, again, defended well until the referee forced them to break.

Undaunted, Westcott went right back to his Huggy Bear attack. And the crowd showered him with boos.

Pawlak was finally able to create some distance with about one minute remaining, as Westcott flopped to floor, totally exhausted. He was able to secure side control and land a few nice elbows before the round ended.

Pawlak kicked off the third round by landing some punches, which caused Westcott to once again tie him up along the fence. He was able to trip Westcott and settle into side control, where he began to unload punches and elbows to Westcott's face. Westcott offered little resistance, totally spent after 10 minutes of hugging.

With one minute to go, Westcott finally got back to his feet and, you guessed it, hugged Pawlak along the cage until the final bell, mercifully, blared.
