UFC welterweight champion, Robbie Lawler and Number 1 contender Rory MacDonald sit down for a quick spot on The Late O'Clock News.
UFC 189 is shaping up to be a blockbuster event. While the card hasn't fully taken shape yet, there have been several bouts announced outside of the headlining title fight between current featherweight champion, Jose Aldo and Irish superstar, Conor McGregor. With the first round of media tours already in the books, all eyes seem to be focused on the scorching rivalry between the two, resulting in the other title fight on the card to fly under the radar.
Welterweight champion, Robbie Lawler will make his first title defense against Number 1 contender, Rory MacDonald in the co-main event. The two have already faced each other once before, with Lawler taking the nod in a close split decision victory. In an effort to keep the PR machine rolling, a fun video talk show spot has been released by The Late O'Clock News, and trust me when I say this, both Robbie and Rory manage to make stoic look comical. This was a great start to my Monday, and I can only hope it's a good kickoff to yours.
